Last week, we introduced the Aldiko widget feature. With the Aldiko widget feature, you can create a widget containing the list of your currently reading eBook titles (a list of books) on your device’s home screen so that you can resume reading quickly and flip through the book covers of your currently reading books beautifully.
This week, we’re going to introduce you the Aldiko book shortcut feature. With this feature, you can create a book cover shortcut of your currently reading book (one single book) on your device’s home screen so that you can come back to read the book with just one tap right from the device’s home screen.
Here is how to add a book shortcut:
-if you are using Android 4.0 or above devices, just go to Add Widget section of your device, touch and hold the Aldiko/Aldiko Premium launcher icon and drag it to the home screen of your device. After that, tab on the book that you would like to create a shortcut;
-If you are using Android 3.0 honeycomb devices, just tab on the “+” icon at the upper right-corner of the device’s home screen, then select “More” and select “Aldiko/Aldiko Premium”. After that, tab on the book that you would like to create a shortcut;
-if you are using Android 2.2 and 2.3 devices, just tab on the menu key of your device then tap on the “Add” icon. After that, select “Shortcuts” and then select “Aldiko/Aldiko Premium”, tab on the cook that you would like to create a shortcut.
That’s it. Now, you will have the book shortcut on your device’s home screen and you can resume reading more quickly than ever.
