There a some issues with several newer phones. Also with Samsung phones

Official statement from Orange UK
""Further to recent reports of missing "Copy protected" applications on the HTC Hero in the UK, Orange can confirm that it is aware of the issues and is working with HTC to urgently resolve. The Application visibility issue is entirely unrelated to membership of the OHA, as has been suggested. As it currently appears to be a server fix no change to handsets should be required, and once resolved we expect all paid applications in the English language to reappear."

""Some minor technical issues have prevented access to some applications on the Android marketplace. These issues are understood and are in the process of being addressed. We expect to confirm resolution within a few days."

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your interest in Aldiko. We did add copyright protection on our application, however, only users with developer phones will not be able to access to applications with copyright protection. Since you have a Samsung Glaxy, you should be able to get us. May be you can contact your cellphone carrier to ask about if some applications have been blocked on your phone? On our side, it seems not much we can do on this aspect. Please feel free to let us know if you have further questions or if there is anything that we can do after you contacting your cellphone carrier. Thanks.

Hi,

I own a Samsung Galaxy GT-7500.

I can find other paid apps in the market
But recently, reading a forum, I found that (it seems) if the developer signs the application with copy protection in the market, it doesn't get shown on the market.
Some users complained they can't find some apps.

I don't know if this is valid only for my phone or for others too (in Italy we have HTC Magic and Samsung Galaxy, for now)

Thanks for your answer.
Bye.

Hi

I have a HTC Dream (also known as T-mobile G1) running Android 1.5 Cup Cake.

However.. I bought my phone outright and so it isn't locked. I read on the Internet somewhere that unlocked phones do not have full access to the market. I cannot seem to see any paid applications and a search for Aldiko finds only the free books formatted for Aldiko.

The application looks great and I still want to get it.... is there any other way?

Hi Alex and Paul,

Thanks for interested in Aldiko. In both Italy and Australia, Android markets support paid-applications. You should be normally able to find Aldiko, we made it available for all countries. Aldiko is under reference category, or you can just simply do a search for "Aldiko" on Android market. If you can not find us, it may due to the kind of phones you use. Which type of Android phone do you use?

Meanwhile, we are exploring new channel to distribute our application.

Please let us know if you continue to have problem to find us.

Hi,
I can't find Aldiko on the market, too.

I live in Italy, and I read that recently the market has been opened for paid apps in my country, but still I can't find it.
Maybe you can just extend the regions in which you sell on the market config.

I am very interested in the latest addition (importing my own ebooks) of your software, as I have a big collection of ebooks (nearly 5000) in epub format and other readers can't handle that much or can't access books.

Thank you.

I love this application and can't wait till there's a more broad variety of books available. I would like to see some Patricia Cornwell, Sydney Sheldon, Danielle Steel...... just more of a variety. Your site rocks!!

Which country are you in? The full version is a paid-app, Android markets in some countries do not support paid-apps, therefore, you may not be able to find us. However, we are trying to find a solution to get around it. Thanks!
